The line graph shows the percentage of different age groups of cinema visitors in a particular country from 1978 to 2008. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The line chart illustrates the proportion of cinema-goers in a specific nation, categorized into four age cohorts, between 1978 to 2008. Overall, most brackets witnessed a downward trend, except for the over 50-year-olds that showed a reverse pattern throughout the given period. Additionally, the rate of individuals going to the cinema declined with age.
Regarding the two youngest cohorts, the share of the 14-24 age group ranked first in 1978 at 90%, followed by a plunge to approximately 85% in 1988. After rising back to 90% a decade later, it declined gradually to just over 80% by 2008. 80% of citizens aged 25-34 went to the cinema in 1978, the figure then dropped suddenly to 60% in 1988. After a plateau at 70% from 1998 to 2003, it finished at roughly 65%.
Concerning the older categories, the percentage of the 35-49 and over-50 age brackets were 60% and 40% in 1978, respectively. From this point, both groups decreased by precisely 20% in the following ten years, before recovering simultaneously to around their individual initial points in 1998. Finally, they experienced a five-year stability then converged at 50% in the end. (190 words)

Question: Many employees may work at home with modern technology. Some people claim that it can benefit only the workers, not the employers. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
ANSWER:
It is commonly argued that the advent of new technology can only be advantageous for employees rather than for employers. I mostly agree with this notion since remote work may debilitate the productivity and cultures of companies and repetition despite employers benefiting from talent acquisition.
One valid argument for my agreement is that this trend has the potential to impede organizations capacity to oversee their personnel to ensure output. Undoubtedly, the absence of a structured office setting can compromise work performance, as interruptions and diversions at home can hinder efficiency. Employees may, for instance, schedule unnecessary breaks, ultimately delaying the completion time of tasks.
Furthermore, I also consider that this approach has a debilitating effect on company culture. Team building, an essential aspect of a thriving workplace which nurtures personal connections and camaraderie, may be difficult to achieve when interactions are confined to virtual meetings. Consequently, this can result in a weakened sense of unity among team members, leading to a potential decline in overall morale.
However, I concede that remote work opens up access to a broader talent pool. Evidently, it allows organizations to recruit the most qualified candidates regardless of their geographical locations. For example, many information technology companies in Silicon Valley hire international software developers from around the world, namely India, China or Vietnam to work in their home country. As a result, this facilitates a more diverse and skilled workforce which can contribute to increased work efficiency and creativity.
In conclusion, I largely contend that remote work only favours workers as it raises apparent drawbacks for employers, including hindering work efficiency and morale. Nonetheless, I must admit that it also favors enterprises by enhancing the accessibility to highly qualified personnel. To ensure that the benefits of working from home extend effectively to both workers and companies, businesses should nurture seamless communication and teamwork to guarantee the most optimal remote collaboration.
