- I chose to study Environmental Science because of my deep concern for the planet and a desire to contribute to its well-being. Growing up, I witnessed the increasing impact of human activities on the environment, from climate change to pollution. This motivated me to learn more about the intricate systems of our ecosystem and find ways to mitigate these issues.
Do you like your major? Why/ Why not?
- Yes, I do like my major. The multidisciplinary nature of Environmental Science appeals to me as it combines aspects of biology, chemistry, and ecology to address complex environmental challenges. I find it fulfilling to study how human actions intersect with the natural world and to explore solutions for a sustainable future.

Do you have any good friends who live far away?
- Yes, I do have some good friends who live far away. Over the years, I’ve made connections with people from different parts of the world through various online platforms and communities. Despite the physical distance, we maintain our friendship through regular communication, sharing experiences, and supporting each other’s endeavors.
Are you still friends with any of your childhood friends?
- I don’t have childhood friends or any memories. However, many people maintain friendships with their childhood friends as they grow older. These friendships can provide a sense of continuity and nostalgia, connecting individuals to their past experiences and shared memories.
Language Learning
Why do you like the language you want to learn?
- I am drawn to learning Spanish because of its rich cultural heritage and its prevalence as one of the most widely spoken languages globally. Its melodious sounds and expressive vocabulary have always captivated my interest.
Do you think it’s difficult to learn a new language?
- Indeed, acquiring a new language can be quite challenging. It involves not only mastering grammar and vocabulary, but also understanding cultural nuances and idiomatic expressions. However, with dedicated practice, effective learning strategies, and immersive experiences, I believe that the difficulty can be overcome, leading to a rewarding linguistic journey.

Describe a book you’ve read many times before
One book that I have read multiple times and hold dear to my heart is “To Kill a Mockingbird” by Harper Lee. This literary masterpiece has captivated me with its profound themes, timeless messages, and intricate characters.
I first encountered this book during my high school years, and it immediately left a lasting impression on me. The novel is set in a small Southern town in the United States during the 1930s and revolves around the Finch family, particularly young Scout Finch, her brother Jem, and their father Atticus Finch.
The reason I find myself drawn to “To Kill a Mockingbird” repeatedly is due to its exploration of complex social issues such as racial prejudice, moral integrity, and the quest for justice. Atticus Finch’s unwavering commitment to defending an innocent black man accused of raping a white woman confronts the deeply ingrained racism of the time and forces readers to examine their own beliefs and biases.
The author’s skillful storytelling and vivid depiction of the town and its inhabitants immerse me in the setting, allowing me to empathize with the characters and their struggles.
