What do you like about your studies?
- What I find particularly compelling about my studies is the opportunity to bridge theoretical concepts with practical applications. Analyzing case studies and participating in economic forums has broadened my perspective, allowing me to connect the dots between classroom theories and real economic challenges.
What do you do to study better?
- To optimize my study routine, I meticulously organize my time, allocating specific periods for reading, research, and group discussions. Collaborating with peers not only reinforces my understanding but also exposes me to diverse viewpoints, enriching my learning experience.
WILD ANIMALS
Are there wild animals in Vietnam?
- Yes, Vietnam is renowned for its rich biodiversity, and it’s fascinating to know that we share our surroundings with animals like the Indochinese tiger, clouded leopard, and even the rare saola.
Have you ever seen wild animals at the zoo?
- During my visits to the zoo, I found it both entertaining and educational. Observing wild animals up close in a controlled environment offers valuable insights into their behaviors and habitats, contributing to a broader understanding of wildlife conservation.
Which wild animal do you want to see?
- The wild animal that captures my imagination the most is the Red-shanked douc, an enchanting monkey species native to Vietnam. Their vibrant colors and graceful movements make them a captivating sight in the lush forests.
Have you watched any wild animals programs recently?
- Recently, I came across an engaging wildlife documentary that highlighted the intricate social structures and survival tactics of various animals. These programs not only showcase the marvels of the animal kingdom but also underscore the importance of conservation efforts to protect these incredible creatures and their habitats.

Can you concentrate on studying when there is noise around you?
- While noise can be distracting, I’ve developed effective strategies to concentrate amidst it. I often use noise-canceling headphones or choose quieter environments to create a conducive study atmosphere. This adaptability has proven crucial, especially in situations where a quiet space isn’t readily available. It’s about finding a balance between focus and flexibility in various study settings.
PART 2:
Describe a movie you watched recently that you find disappointed
Recently, I watched a movie that, unfortunately, left me quite disappointed. The film, titled “Lost Horizons,” had garnered significant attention due to its intriguing premise and renowned cast. However, despite high expectations, it fell short of delivering a compelling cinematic experience.
The storyline, revolving around a mystical utopia, initially seemed promising. The trailers teased a captivating blend of adventure and philosophy. However, as the narrative unfolded, I found the pacing to be inconsistent, with certain scenes feeling rushed while others lingered unnecessarily. This disrupted the overall flow of the movie, making it challenging to fully engage with the plot.
Moreover, the character development was lacking, leaving the audience with shallow connections to the protagonists. The motivations of key characters remained unclear, and their relationships felt underdeveloped. As a result, it was challenging to empathize with their struggles and triumphs.
One major letdown was the visual effects. Given the fantastical nature of the story, I anticipated a visual spectacle. Unfortunately, the CGI elements appeared outdated and, at times, distracting. This significantly detracted from the immersive experience that a movie of this genre should ideally provide.
Despite these shortcomings, the film did have some redeeming qualities. The musical score was noteworthy, contributing to the emotional resonance of certain scenes. Additionally, a few standout performances from the cast members added moments of authenticity to an otherwise lackluster storyline.
In conclusion, “Lost Horizons” failed to live up to its pre-release hype. While it had elements that could have contributed to a memorable cinematic experience, the inconsistent pacing, underdeveloped characters, and subpar visual effects left me disappointed. As a movie enthusiast, I appreciate the efforts involved in filmmaking, but this particular film fell short of the expectations set by its initial promotional material.
PART 3:
What kinds of movies do Vietnamese people often watch?
- Vietnamese people exhibit a diverse taste in movies, encompassing both domestic and international offerings. Romantic dramas, action-packed adventures, and historical epics stand out among the preferred genres. The variety of choices reflects the dynamic nature of cinematic preferences in the country.
What do you think about watching movies at the cinema and watching movies at home?
- The cinema and home movie-watching experiences offer distinctive advantages. Cinemas provide a larger-than-life atmosphere with immersive visuals and superior sound quality, creating a communal and memorable experience. In contrast, home viewing offers the comfort of one’s space, flexibility in timing, and the ability to control the environment.
Are famous actors often disappointing?
- Evaluations of famous actors can be subjective, influenced by individual expectations and personal preferences. While some consistently deliver outstanding performances, occasional disappointments might arise due to varying roles and genres.
Is it more important if the actors are good or the script is good?
- The balance between the importance of actors and a compelling script is an ongoing debate. A well-crafted script lays the foundation for a meaningful narrative, yet skilled actors bring characters to life, contributing significantly to the emotional impact of a film.
Are actors receiving too high a salary?
- Perspectives on actors’ salaries differ. Supporters argue that high salaries are justified by the entertainment industry’s profitability and the actors’ influence on a film’s success. Conversely, critics contend that exorbitant pay may not align with the societal value of their work.
